Spend a weekend inside the living art of bonsai — a free public demonstration and two intimate workshops with master grower Sean Heseltine, NZ Bonsai Society listed demonstrator and Immediate Past President of the Otago Bonsai Society.

Register by emailWe meet on the second Monday of each month (except January) at the Kiosk in the Botanic Gardens. A typical night mixes a demonstration or guest speaker with plenty of time to work on trees, ask questions and swap cuttings.
Through the year we run beginner workshops, field trips, trading nights, and our annual Spring Show — plus the fiercely contested Tree of the Year.
